January 2010

January is a very busy month for us. It's full of BIRTHDAYS! We love all our amazing friends and family who celebrated a Birthday in January and hope that everyone had an amazing day! Here are some highlights of our Birthday Parties.

Jaye turned two on January 3rd. We had a fun celebration at my Moms house! I had lots of fun helping out to make my little Monkey Man his Birthday Cake.

On January 10th Olivia turned Seven! I can hardly believe that by baby is so big! Josh ended up having to go to California for work on her Birthday. So we started celebrating on Saturday. We surprised her by going to see Princess and the Frog in the theater just Mom, Dad and the Birthday Girl. It was great fun! She was so surprised and happy. It was only the second movie she had ever been to in the theater and she doesn't remember the first time. She was glowing with happiness that it turned into a very tender moment when she gave us big hugs after the movie. On Sunday, her Birthday, we had a get together with family at my Moms house. It was lots of fun. She came out very spoiled and loved being in the spot light. Thank you everyone who made it so special for her! She still has balloons that are floating in her bedroom from her big day.

Olivia wanted Waffles for Breakfast!

Talking to Uncle Sterling in Chicago!

The girls were dancing non-stop to this singing balloon that Olivia got from Aunt Brandy. Thanks for all the amazing balloons! They were so stinking cute dancing and dancing and dancing all evening long.

Olivia got a new book shelf for her Birthday from Mom and Dad. Finally she has some place to hold all of her books! I even put it all together by myself... which is quite a feat since I'm not very handy. Yeah for the fun shopping trip to IKEA with Grandma Launi to find a book shelf.

On the 11th my friend Tara celebrated her Birhtday. We were able to finally catch up with her and have breakfast at Grannie Annies together. It was such a fun morning to be together as friends and have the little kids play together.

The 15th of January is very busy... we have three loved ones that share that amazing day! My Mommy being one of them. Of course, she ran away to Portland to play with my big brother for her Birthday. We sure did miss her!

A week later we celebrated Josh's 28th Birthday! We had a yummy get together at his Moms house. He requested hamburgers and we had a big shin dig with the family. Of course we had to celebrate with the traditional Ice Cream cake from Baskin Robins, his all time favorite. It was a fun day! Josh was very spoiled and we enjoyed our time with the family and friends.
