We had a fun little Valentines Day. I worked the night before and when I got home from work I set out everyone's Valentines. Josh let me get some sleep and I was very surprised that the kids had it in them to wait to open their Valentines when I woke up. Josh made me a homemade woven Valentine that took him almost an hour to weave. I put together a Candy Bar Valentine Card for him. He is slowly eating his way through it. We made it down to my Mom's for dinner and enjoyed an amazing meal of fajitas. Mom went all out and spoiled us rotten! Thanks Mommy for all your love and work. We kinda ate and ran... over to Ginger Moms house. The Kelley Clan migrated down for the weekend. It was so fun to see them. We are glad they decided on the extra drive down to visit with us. The kids had the 15th off of school... so we let them play all day together. Cousins are always fun yet it's always sad to see them go!

Josh and I celebrated our Third Wedding Anniversary on the 16th. We had a very mellow day together. To celebrate we decided to go out to dinner as a family to Mimi's. We had a fun time out together as a family, dinning out is something we don't do just the four of us much.
February has been an interesting month for us. Josh was laid off from his Job at CMD on the 20th of January. He got his Birthday wish of not having to work on his big day. Not quiet how he thought it would play out though. It had been quiet the roller-coast ride for Josh at work the last few months. Things were slow at work and his boss had been pretty extreme from day to day. Making it a pretty stressful work environment. I have actually felt pretty good about him leaving that job because of it all. The writing was on the wall. It leaves the door open for some big changes for our family. Only time will tell where this change will take our family. Josh got on unemployment and has been diligent about looking for jobs. Though he has also enjoyed not working... a rare thing since he was a teenager. Just like all of us. We are keeping our fingers crossed that something good comes along and working hard to make sure he is open for that change. We have become part of the statistics that are sweeping Americans across the country. For now we are doing well. Unemployment pays the house payment and we are doing better than most I am sure.
It's been different having Josh home figuring out our daily routine. He is being more domestic and enjoying time with the children more. Definitely not a bad thing. Jorja now calls for "Daddy" in the morning, not "Mommy". Olivia is also enjoying Daddy taking her to school in the mornings instead of me. I am enjoy a bit more sleep after working all night with Josh around during the day. Maybe too much sleep, because he feels bad waking me up when I want to be woken up. At the same time, he's kinda driving me crazy. We have never spent so much time together. I know it is good for us... but he still tends to grate on my nerves. I wish he would play WOW less and be a bit more productive. We don't seem to be on the same page in our relationship and I know it's good for us to be spending this time together. He has done some soul searching about what he wants out of his working career. He has had some serious thoughts about going back to school, which would be quiet the change for our family. But, could take us in a very healthy direction. We are trying to take things one day at a time.

The girls out enjoying some good weather the last week of February. Jorja was doing pretty good learning to peddle her tricycle. She would do it on her own if I would give her a starter push. Olivia stopped riding her new scooter to help Jorja learn to peddle.
