First Snows... and Cabin Fever!

We had some lovely early snow just after Halloween... It was so pretty with the trees still hanging on to there leaves.

Happy Halloween from Grandpa Rod and Grandma Sherrie... spoiled rotten kids! Well loved ones though.

Mom needed some help up at her cabin. She had some sliding glass doors here and they leaked last spring letting water into the cabin. We had plans to replace them all summer and never made it back up to take care of it. Josh, Jorja and I went up to close the cabin down and take care of the door. Josh worked hard to get it out and put the new door and window in.

Yeah a window! But... it's dark and getting cold.

Day two, Jorja loves the snow!
Yeah a door and window! So much safer and it feels so much better. Lots to do still at the cabin, but we do get a lot accomplished when we do go.  Love this place!

 Josh actually locking the door!
It feels so good and I loved being up at the cabin with the snow. It was stunning!
Though, we almost didn't make it out. We went sliding off the driveway backing out. We were only sitting on three tires. Josh was able to dig us out, he is so handy!

Our tire tracks in and out. You can see were the back tires just started sliding.
The view on the drive down. LOVELY!

We were out of electricity in the kitchen the week before Thanksgiving.  This was the reason why. I took Josh way too much  energy and outside help to finally figure it out! Thank you Mark and Josh for doing such an amazing job. Just in time for Turkey Day!

Halloween... Is My Second Favorite Holiday!

My little Lady Bug and Fifty's girl!
Olivia and Jorja on Friday before Halloween. Olivia's school still does a parade and Jorja, Grandma Ginger and I were able to go to the school and see the kids in their costumes. It was loads of fun to see them all dressed up.

This is Olivia's class room... Her teacher was an M & M. All the third grade teachers were.

 Liv outside her class room.

On Sunday the 30th, We had everyone over for Sunday Dinner... Halloween Style. We watched Hocus Pocus, carved pumpkins and ate creepy food. It was nice to have everyone come celebrate with us and we thank you for making our holiday so spooktacular!

Welcome to the lab... the Mad Scientist will be with you shortly.
Halloween Day the girls went and got their hair cuts and we did some fun things around the house. Olivia didn't have school on Halloween so that is why we celebrated two days. I did not want her up too late on Halloween since she had school the next day.

Finishing up the rest of the pumpkins... yuck!

But looking good! We grew this pumpkin!

Some creepy food for a creepy holiday.... ENJOY!

The kids were too cute trick-or-treating. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello!

 TRICK-OR-TREAT!
Hey... Fred and Wilma Flinstone showed up!  The kids didn't know who they were and I had to show Olivia the movie later in the week.

This is the most dressed up Josh gets... he let me put creepy tattoo's on him.
My costume was terrible, I am so doing better next year!

Happy Halloween!
