Big Girl!
Jorja has been ready to sleep in a big girl bed for a bit now... but with the move and all we decided not to change everything at once. We finally put her crib down on Wednesday and she is doing great! Olivia informs us that she only got out of bed twice the first night and once the next night. Though, she went right back to bed when Olivia told her to. Now she is sleeping great and so far no problems. I was very concerned about naps, but is hasn't been an issue thank goodness. She is very proud to be sleeping like a big girl.

The sad part is we should have put her bed down about two weeks earlier... because last week she decided to add some personalized art work to her bed. We have a part beaver in the family! She bit all the way around her crib!

Please notice the arm above her head... she is so her fathers daughter!
Had to take a picture of Olivia while I was sneaking in the room! Hee hee! They are cute angels when they sleep.

Liv all snuggled in her blanket on her side... so her mothers daughter!

We are here...
Living in Bountiful!
It's feels good to be getting settled here at my Mom's house. We still have tons to move and deal with back at the house in Layton. Though, for the most part everything can stay put until the house sells.

August 23rd, 1st day of 2nd Grade

Olivia is in love with her 2nd grade class and is making lots of new friends. She really likes her new teacher Mrs. Noyce and Muir Elem. It's been a great transition for the kids. Jorja is still pretty obsessed with following Grandma Launi around everywhere. I think she is afraid that since we moved in, Grandma is moving out. She finally stopped asking if she can still sleep here. She was asking every night were she was supposed to sleep. So, she is dealing a lot better. The kids are very happy to be here and I think it's been good for all of us.
We spent last weekend at Aunt Stephanie's cabin up by Strawberry Reservoir. It was a lovely weekend!

We dragged Colin along with us to help Josh cut down trees. Josh and Aunt Stephanie made a deal. She bought him a chainsaw in trade for his manual labor to get firewood and clear dead trees around the cabin. He thinks is a GREAT deal!

The boys had WAY too much fun cutting trees. They cut some small dead quaking aspens and one very large pine. It was so tall and pretty exciting to watch come down exactly where they wanted it too. Josh was so nervous he was shaking after it came down. They cut that huge pine into smaller pieces and split all the wood. They broke his maul doing just that. Boys and their toys... I don't get it. It was beautiful and lovely to spend some time up there. It's a nice spot and it was good to get to know Aunt Stephanie more. Of course we even roasted marshmallows and the girls had a blast!

Josh is currently asleep and I'm awake in a very quiet house. It's odd. He is usually the one awake and I'm begging him to turn something down so I can find some peace. He went hiking with his brother Jared up Centerville canyon last night. Kicked his butt! He came home trashed this afternoon. He said it was amazing and they hiked to the peak of the mountain. I can only imagine the view! But, he was probably asleep before the kids were tonight! Ha ha!

Chuck-E- Cheese
Just a week before we moved we had a great night out with my Daddy. He took us all to dinner to Chuck-E-Cheese. The girls LOVED it! We did have a great time considering where we were. Josh and I do not like crowds very much. Josh was a good sport and won the girls as many tickets as possible, so they walked away with a fun toy each. My favorite game was the car ride with Chuck E. Cheese that took your picture. It was Jorja's favorite also! It was a good evening out with my Dad. Thanks Grandpa!
