We are here...

Living in Bountiful!
It's feels good to be getting settled here at my Mom's house. We still have tons to move and deal with back at the house in Layton. Though, for the most part everything can stay put until the house sells.

August 23rd, 1st day of 2nd Grade

Olivia is in love with her 2nd grade class and is making lots of new friends. She really likes her new teacher Mrs. Noyce and Muir Elem. It's been a great transition for the kids. Jorja is still pretty obsessed with following Grandma Launi around everywhere. I think she is afraid that since we moved in, Grandma is moving out. She finally stopped asking if she can still sleep here. She was asking every night were she was supposed to sleep. So, she is dealing a lot better. The kids are very happy to be here and I think it's been good for all of us.

We spent last weekend at Aunt Stephanie's cabin up by Strawberry Reservoir. It was a lovely weekend!

We dragged Colin along with us to help Josh cut down trees. Josh and Aunt Stephanie made a deal. She bought him a chainsaw in trade for his manual labor to get firewood and clear dead trees around the cabin. He thinks is a GREAT deal!

The boys had WAY too much fun cutting trees. They cut some small dead quaking aspens and one very large pine. It was so tall and pretty exciting to watch come down exactly where they wanted it too. Josh was so nervous he was shaking after it came down. They cut that huge pine into smaller pieces and split all the wood. They broke his maul doing just that. Boys and their toys... I don't get it. It was beautiful and lovely to spend some time up there. It's a nice spot and it was good to get to know Aunt Stephanie more. Of course we even roasted marshmallows and the girls had a blast!

Josh is currently asleep and I'm awake in a very quiet house. It's odd. He is usually the one awake and I'm begging him to turn something down so I can find some peace. He went hiking with his brother Jared up Centerville canyon last night. Kicked his butt! He came home trashed this afternoon. He said it was amazing and they hiked to the peak of the mountain. I can only imagine the view! But, he was probably asleep before the kids were tonight! Ha ha!

Chuck-E- Cheese

Just a week before we moved we had a great night out with my Daddy. He took us all to dinner to Chuck-E-Cheese. The girls LOVED it! We did have a great time considering where we were. Josh and I do not like crowds very much. Josh was a good sport and won the girls as many tickets as possible, so they walked away with a fun toy each. My favorite game was the car ride with Chuck E. Cheese that took your picture. It was Jorja's favorite also! It was a good evening out with my Dad. Thanks Grandpa!

Starting to Migrate

Well, officially we we all be sleeping at our new "home" my Mom's House in Bountiful tonight. Things have not gone as smoothly as planned... mostly because I'm an emotional beast and my husband doesn't dare talk to me. Our communication is lacking to say the least. But... Our girls are sleeping in their own beds in their new room. Josh and I will be moving our bed down today. Then, slowly we will clean our house and move more "STUFF" to our new residence. We have a lot of stuff! Anyone in need of some kitchen stuff, please let me know. I'm either packing it up or getting rid of it. This will be taking up a lot of our time for the
next couple weeks getting settled and deciding what needs to go and stay.

Olivia and Josh start school again this week. Olivia is very excited to meet her new teacher Mrs. Noyce at Muir Elementary. Josh will have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Time to get back to the grind I guess. I have so enjoyed having Olivia home for the summer. I'm sad to see her go back to school and have our lives revolve around school again. Oh well, such is life!

We are still keeping our fingers crossed our house sells soon. More people have come to look at it. But... it's still just hanging. I'm so sick of this living in limbo. It will be nice to get settled at my moms house. We will be going back and forth until the house does sell.

A stop on our way home in Choteau, MT

Driving too Montana

We did have a fun little camping trip with Josh's family last weekend while Josh was out of school. We drove to Glacier National Park for the weekend. It was stunning and I'm so glad we went. But, we should have stayed a couple days longer for such a long drive. We arrived in the rain but lucked out with beautiful weather the rest of the weekend! It's always good to see the family and spend time with them like that. We were told it's our turn next year to plan the family get together. I'm already stressing out! Hee hee.

Summer is going TOO Fast!

A quick update!
Our house is still for sale. We have officially had three people look at it. But, two of the three came in the last week! Hopefully it sells soon!
Josh got an A in English and finishes up the rest of this classes today! Wahoo for going back to school. It's been an interesting roller-coaster ride for him this Summer.
Him and Olivia both start school again on the 23rd.
We are planning to migrate to my Mommy's home by the end of the month. I want to get settled as Olivia starts school. Josh has two weeks off of school and we are going to Glacier National Park next week with the Nielsen Clan. Should be a good adventure!
I am just working and playing with the girls. Olivia's teeth are coming in crooked and Jorja is whining more. Besides that we are just trying to enjoy our Summer. It's going by WAY too fast! This is going to be fun but busy weekend. We are getting together with good friends and family and I'm so looking forward to it.
Hope everyone is having a great summer! Hope to have pictures to post soon and a more detailed update.
