We went for a drive up Fairview Canyon just Josh, Ginger Mom, Jorja and I. Olivia wasn't feeling well and stayed back with Grandma Launi and Aunt Jo. It's gorgeous up there and we had lots of fun seeing all the lakes and stopping to have lunch up the canyon.
It was fascinating to see part of the mountain just starting to sprout at the end of July, where other parts were blooming.
SNOW! IN JULY!
Watchout!
We had a lot of fun playing in the snow... Jorja loved it!
Spending time in the Fairview Museum was very interesting. I had a lot of fun learning about the local area.
Seeing the kids make a phone call on the old rotary system was fun. The kids loved this old phone booth. it's crazy to realize they hardly recognized these as phones.
The Fairview Museum has this great replica of the bones they found up the mountain of the Mammoth. They were also having a car show for the holiday. We saw some pretty cool cars and and an old train.
We got out spots camped out for the parade! My Mommy and her Sister Mary Jo.
Us!
Ginger Mom camped out with us along the road.
Fairview Pioneer Parade!
Jorja was like this through most of it, apparently it was too loud.
The girls hanging out with my cousin Phil waiting for the parade to start. He is such a trooper hanging out with my kids. We had fun spending time together with my Aunt Jo, Uncle Craig and Phil, To have Ginger Mom come with us also was a treat. I had a great 24th of July at the cabin and hope my family did also.
